Sookie is a 6 year old female Old English Sheepdog who was found abandoned in a city park, crippled, riddled with tumors and barely able to stand or walk. She was rescued and taken to Animal Care and Control and then ended up at the SFSPCA. After receiving extensive medical treatment and recuperating at the SFSPCA, Sookie stayed with us for a month as a foster dog. When she was strong enough to be made available for adoption we couldnt let her go, so we are now proud to be able call her one of our own. She is an incredibly sweet, bossy & jolly dog who makes us laugh everyday.
